2 per car, should be replaced when installing new struts
If your BMW has high mileage you will need to replace the front struts. When replacing the front struts it’s also important to replace the upper strut mounts which houses the strut bearings. More times than not the strut bearing will develop play over time and become “crunchy”. For this reason we always recommend installing new strut mounts when replacing the front struts.
