About Trucktec
Trucktec was founded in 1989 and started out with just 3 employees in their Saarbruecken, Germany location with the main agenda to produce parts for Mercedes Trucks. In 1990 they expanded in the passenger car segment and began producing parts for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. By 1990 the company had grown so much that it required them to construct a new building to house higher storage bays and greater part capacities. By this time the company had reached 20 employees. In 2002 the company received its ISO 9001:2000 certification and founded a new branch located in Dubai.It was at this time that they expanded their range of products to offer parts for other makes such as Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda, and later in 2003, BMW, allowing them to increase their size to 42 employees. In 2006 they opened up a new location in Singapore to serve the Asian market with it’s own warehouse with a soon to follow sales office in Shanghai in 2007. Today Trucktec stands as an ever growing competitor in the automotive aftermarket with 5 locations globally. They produce a quality product with the endless pursuit for future development.
